The Opportunity
- Lead and grow the Houston healthcare engineering practice while serving as a senior technical and business leader.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams on complex healthcare projects from concept and design through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Serve as a senior mechanical engineering lead or Engineer of Record, ensuring technical quality, regulatory compliance, and project performance.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, risk, and overall delivery for medium- to large-scale healthcare projects.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with healthcare clients, driving repeat business and identifying new opportunities.
- Lead business development, client presentations, proposals, and pursuit strategies in partnership with regional leadership.
- Mentor and develop engineers and project teams, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
- Promote innovative, sustainable, and resilient healthcare design solutions.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience with significant hospital design experience.
- Proven experience taking healthcare projects from concept through construction administration and commissioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Experience leading medium- to large-scale projects as a Project Manager, Project Director, or senior engineering leader.
- Strong background in mechanical design, team leadership, client development, and business growth.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Texas PE license required.
