Channel Sales Manager

The Opportunity

  • Build and expand strategic distribution and reseller partnerships across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, research, and life sciences markets.
  • Develop channel strategies and joint business plans to increase revenue, market penetration, and partner performance.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new channel partners while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
  • Establish senior-level relationships with distributors, customers, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify new opportunities through consultative selling, market development, partner expansion, and customer engagement.
  • Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, rebates, and partnership agreements.
  • Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, account plans, and performance metrics through CRM and business intelligence tools.
  • Conduct regular partner business reviews, identify gaps, and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Customer Service on launches, promotions, training, and channel programs.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive feedback to help shape sales and product strategies.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, scientific meetings, and customer events.
  • Monitor partner compliance with contractual, company, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven channel, distribution, or strategic sales experience within life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or research markets.
  • Track record of developing partnerships and delivering revenue growth through indirect sales channels.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, relationship-management, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience managing sales forecasts, pipelines, CRM systems, and performance analytics.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of market development, competitive positioning, and partner enablement.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, conferences, and industry events.
