The Opportunity
- Drive new business by prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and connecting with hiring decision-makers through phone, networking, and in-person outreach.
- Target and develop new accounts while building long-term relationships with employers and identifying workforce needs.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand hiring requirements, budget, timing, and business challenges.
- Present staffing solutions, secure new client agreements, and coordinate a smooth transition of job orders to the recruiting team.
- Partner with internal recruiting and staffing teams to move opportunities from initial contact through fulfillment and re-engage accounts when needed.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM and activity-tracking tools, documenting interactions and next steps.
- Build and execute daily territory plans based on account potential, appointments, and geographic efficiency.
- Provide consultative value through labor-market insights, workforce trends, educational resources, and relevant staffing solutions.
- Expand existing accounts by identifying additional hiring needs and introducing complementary services.
- Develop referral and networking opportunities through professional organizations and local business communities.
- Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, staffing regulations, and company policies.
Sales Expectations
- Generate approximately 2 new clients per week.
- Complete approximately 120 sales calls per week, including 100 face-to-face visits.
- Conduct at least 60 conversations with hiring decision-makers and 5 strategic sales appointments weekly.
- Prospect approximately 800–1,000 accounts per quarter and maintain a focused pipeline of high-potential opportunities.
- Review activity and pipeline performance regularly to prioritize accounts with near-term potential.
- Participate in daily team meetings to coordinate leads, candidate availability, job orders, and territory activities.
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales, business development, staffing, recruiting, or account management experience preferred.
- Strong prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Confident communicating with business owners, hiring managers, and senior decision-makers.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, persistent, and comfortable working toward activity and revenue goals.
- Ability to manage frequent field travel, customer visits, and changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Comfortable working in office, manufacturing, and industrial environments.
